What better way to ring in the new year than with a fresh new aisle?! I’ve been counting down the days for this upgrade. Now, wherever you cross-tie your creature- boom- mats. Horses are getting a trim? Boom- mats. Should I sweep the aisle? Nah… Now I can use the leaf blower!
We started with the tractor, leveling out the dirt floor and getting rid of the giant rocks. Who knew NH would have so many rocks. Then it was getting into the aisle with the pallet loaded with mats. These 3/4″ mats are 100lbs each and are bulky and floppy and not overly helpful so we used the tractor as much as we could. We dragged the mats off the pallets and loosely positioned them. The middle of the aisle was identified and the mats were positioned and pushed together.
Jada was, of course, managing from the sidelines the entire time! Other than that the horses don’t seem overly impressed but I’m excited enough for all of them!
