I hope everyone gets to experience their once-in-a-lifetime horse. Leo was that horse for me. He would jump anything, take you on the trails, carry a rider for their first ride, and win blues with you at the shows. This guy was everything. Today I did the hardest thing I have ever had to do. I said goodbye to my man. It still doesn’t feel real and I’m still expecting him to poke his head over his stall door. He may have had small hooves but he is leaving some mighty big shoes for someone to fill. I am grateful that we had one last show together this year and that he was able to touch the lives of so many. Leo’s registered name was ‘All The Class’ and he certainly lived up to it. I am blessed that he joined us in New Hampshire and was laid to rest in the field behind our house where I can always visit him. Leo, I will always miss you. You were everything.

This happened at the very end of August and while we are figuring out how to move forward this man will never be forgotten.
